It just keeps getting better and better...Outstanding.The artwork, the story..the transitions.I really enjoyed this read.[can you tell?] If you haven't been reading Fables [like I wasn't] You should.

I think I'm hooked in enough to the story now to keep going. I'm not fond of the characters. snow white - who just had a great turn as a general while pregnant with bigby wolf's baby - is having this burgeoning romance with him and I just am not in favor. I enjoy it when the villains are dispatched, I dislike them well enough, but I'm not really keen on the heroes. the villains do get away with an awful lot of stuff, very frustrating.
The third deluxe volume was fantastic I enjoyed that it was mostly one long story. I also enjoyed the cinderella story at the beginning especially with the details surrounding Icabod Crane being revealed in The Wolf Among Us. The Wooden Soldiers story was quite sad resulting in the death of many of the good fables. However I am excited to see what Bigby and Snows cubs look like!!
I'm really enjoying this series so far. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
