Judgment About Books Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, Volume 2: Last Days (Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #6-11)
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Natasha Romanoff is the epic love of Bucky's life, not this random blue alien lady. The only thing I liked about this book were the references to Daisy being not-straight in someway, but I have mixed feelings about the author's motives behind that.

Again with the super weird art! At least the storyline had an ending. Crossbones being Nick Fury Jr was a surprise. What was that with the Reznor?! I think I would have enjoyed this multiverse more if the art wasnt so psychadelic and distracting. Great colours though.

Well... that was different. The whole story was just all over the place... a real hotchpotch... Let's just say I want some of whatever Ales Kot was taking when he wrote this. (Saying that, I think I'm on enough drugs as it is. Best leave well enough alone.)The artwork was nice though, albeit just as psychedelic as the story. Some really nice line work and some really nice painting... It's kind of a shame they didn't really work that well together. Not a terrible book but it has left me wanting to

It had its moments. Mostly in that the art was gorgeous and weird and fun to look at. There was an attempt at character work, in having Bucky solve problems without killing anyone, but...Eh. I don't care about Ventolin. When Natasha Romanoff tricked the God of Mischief himself, it was an awesome scene because Natasha is an established character that the audience already cares about. An established character that the audience has a connection to besting another established character is fun.

Im a big fan of the art and the cosmic setting. Only downside is that it isnt necessary that this is a Winter Soldier book. Still a fun trip.

I wasn't overly fond of volume 1, but it end on a slight cliff hanger so I had to continue (that Bucky Barnes is one of my favorite characters). First off, the story line was kind of all over the place, continuously skipping from one time period or dimension to the next. Second, there were two VERY different art styles, one very beautiful and artistic and the other extremely cartoony. I absolutely loved the artistic one but the cartoon one was just TOO cartoony for my taste.

Bucky Barnes has no business exploring the multiverse. He, Daisy Johnson, and Crossbones are spies not astronauts from 60's era science fiction novels. I couldn't even tell you what half this book is about; that's how badly it's written. Crossbones creates a handgun planet. That's probably the dumbest sentence I've ever written about a comic book. I've read a few books by Ales Kot now and I've decided he's just a crap writer.
