It is the third book in the Maxwell Series but can be read as a stand alone. I have not read any other pieces by S.B. Alexander but I'm on my way to purchasing them!! This book was phenomenal. I haven't read the other books in the series, and it's not necessary to understand this book; However, I'm reading them immediately.. This book was that awesome. This is truly about finding your first love and having a second chance, but that's not really how it started.. It happened by chance. Kel and Lizzie had such a strong and heartbreaking past, that I'm not sure how anyone could get through that.. However you could tell they really never stopped loving each other.

This was a heart warming love story. Kelton is the cocky alpha that we all fall in love with. He is the strong willed man that can only be brought to his knees by the one woman who owed his heart. Lizzie is a strong willed woman that has only ever loved Kelton. Her life has been turned upside down and she needs answers that may just cost her the one man she wants most.
