4.5 starsIt took me longer to get though this one, but I love the world and all the characters in it. Even though this is book 5 of the series, it doesn't grow old or watered down at all.The ending just about broke me though.... :) :')

This is about when the group of people, animals, and statues are shipwrecked on an island after trying to get home from Pirate island. They shipwreck because of a hurricane that happens everyday, and gets stronger everyday. The reason they are there is because they are rescuing Sky and Crows mother, who was imprisoned on Pirate island. The leader of the pirates went to the island where they lived, and kidnapped Aaron, the identical brother of Alex who is the main character. Those at the island

Another great addition to the Unwanted series even though I believe his was a kind of filler book because nothing really happened until the last 150 pages where the author just decided to make everything go up in flames with so much twists and sadness. In those last few pages is where I think this book became the darkest in the series so far and I was not expecting that from this series but expect the unexpected I always say. I am enjoying the series very much but I am starting to get a little

Easily one of the best in the series, and arguably the darkest. Good balance of character-building and action. I love how relentlessly melodramatic these books can get at times (in a good way, obviously.) The last hundred pages are crazy.

I would highly, highly recommend reading the Unwanteds series in order. Each book packs so much activity, emotion, and adventure in each book.
