But the fact that this was set in the Alaskan wilderness gave me no choice, I've been obsessed with Alaska since I was a kid and I'm travelling there in just a few weeks. This book was AWESOME!!!! I didn't really know what to expect going in since this is a new author for me but it turned out soooooo good! I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was safe and sexy and you really never knew what was going to happen next. This book is basically about to people trying to survive in the Alaskan wilderness, we don't have no ow/om drama, no misunderstandings or anything like that. That being said you will definitely not be bored. My only complaint

This story started out interesting, but sadly didn't pan out for me. I listened to the first 80% through audible, then switched over to the eBook. The dual narration was good, unfortunately Kate (the heroine) seemed to be on verge of tears or breaking down the entire story. I wanted a stronger heroine, since she was an FBI agent I expected a tougher character.The audiobook dragged, I felt the obstacles and trials were too much to believe. Quite a few eye rolling moments made the book boring

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this little gem, but I'm so glad that I did!! What a great romantic suspense. A tough as nails loner hero running from his past (and who has been without...ahem...female companionship for a few years). A female FBI agent trying to do the right thing. A legit evil villain.
