The Adventure of the Three Students is an often overlooked story from the canon of Sherlock Holmes work written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; and perhaps The Adventure of the Three Students is overshadowed by the fact that it was preceded by two of the most famous Sherlock Holmes tales, The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton and The Adventure of the Six Napoleons. The Adventure of the Three Students was first published in the Strand Magazine in June 1904, before appearing in Collier’s Weekly on 24th September 1904. Then, in 1905, the tale would appear as part of the compilation work titled The Return of Sherlock Holmes.

Good Sherlock Holmes mystery, as usual. I love his power of deduction, that will never change. With his stories, it's never time wasted! This book is an action packed book where Holmes and Watson go on an adventure to find a missing student. What they find is much more sinister.
This story is about the great detective Mr. Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson. At first, he doesn't get into Prof. Soames' case. But when he learns the details, Mr.Holmes really gets interested and decides to help. On the eve of the Greek translation test someone comes into Professor's house and copies the examination material. Three students are suspected...I liked the story. It's interesting, exciting and unpredictable. Mr. Holmes is brilliant. His logic is accurate and the way of thinking is

In fourth grade, I somehow managed to read the complete Sherlock Holmes collection. All the stories are in one big book, and its convenient location means that every so often I will pick it up and reread one of my favorites. This one is somewhat less of an adventure, but just as impressive of a mystery to solve.
Definitely not one of the best Sherlock Holmes stories - prior to this one (and I've been reading all them in the order they were published), I've only rated Holmes stories with 4 or 5 stars. This one, however, though it has all the classical elements of a Sherlock Holmes adventure, is comparatively uninteresting. The crime itself is quite dull (and of little consequence), the characters involved are hardly appealing, and it does not present any unique "feature of interest", to quote the great
Having bought (and read) a lot of new books in the last few months I thought it was time to return to an old favourite. I have read Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories many times, but this is one I haven't revisited for a long time. There is no murder this time, just a straightforward mystery to solve. Well, straightforward for the great detective but not for mere mortals like myself!
This story is a bit off the beaten path with Holmes attempting to learn which of three students has cheated on academic work. Though different from his usual need to uncover a murderer or other serious criminal, all the hallmarks of Holmes's method are present.
