Pretty good back story in this one and a bit of summing up of what happened in the last. Personally not my favorite so far in the series.I think things are starting to clear up more in this volume but once the dust settles I think this series will be back on track for me. Zero points his gun at Yuki and vows to kill all purebloods, including her. And Kaname is not having that. But Yuki says as long as Zero has a will to live, she's ok being his enemy. Ugh. I absolutely loved this particular final chapter of Part one/Season one. This manga was much different from the tv show and it was a wonderful change! Every act was done differently and I'm much happier with the way the characters played out by the end of this book. I'm excited to re read the next set. A job well done as an Author!
Not so much transition as denouement after the outrageous awesomeness of the last volume, but so many story elements were brought to an end in the last volume that we're left panting for breath and sorting through the wreckage before the next story arc. Not sure where it's all going but things certainly seem creepier.
This manga series was absolutely amazing!! If youve never read a manga before and dont know what to try first, Vampire Knight is the perfect choice. The action is constant, the characters are perfectly blended, the artwork is absolutely amazing and the plot is original and addicting!I loved all of the characters! I couldnt decide who was best for Yuki. As much as I loved the tortured soul that Zero harbored, Kaname is steamy and swoon worthy. I loved the scenes where Yuki and Kaname would hold

I have always really enjoyed these books but this one seemed very confusing. It didn't seem like the story went anywhere or told you anything new in this volume. Not sure when volume 11 comes out but I will hope that it has more enlightement in it.
