Judge Epithetical Books Living With IT: A Survivor's Guide to Panic Attacks
This is a quick read, and I loved the format that includes cartoon drawings that help put into perspective what it's like to have a panic attack and how to deal with it. I'm going to keep this with me when I travel so that if I feel myself about to have a panic attack, I can pull it out and remind myself that the fears brought on by the attack are not real but rather simply thoughts that are manifesting with physical symptoms. There are plenty of other books out there that go much deeper into

While there is some good information in here, I found that some things are too over simplified. Still helpful though.

My psychologist recommended this book because it is simply and easy to understand. I liked it because it helps a lot and gives me a better understanding of panic attacks.

Whenever I feel very panicky or anxious I grab this book and start reading it. It makes me remember that panic attacks aren't scary, and that I can overcome this. And I will. Someday.

It was great to read a book which puts the panic attacks into some sort of physical format which is separate to me. I have suffered from Agoraphobia with Panic Disorder for the past 20 years and still remember my very first panic attack like it was yesterday. Bev Aisbett's book is a blessing for those like me who suffer constant panic attacks and feel like they have lost control. My therapist in Australia recommended this book to me 18 years ago.
