Rendition As Books Grey's Awakening (Cabin Fever #2)
Greyson Cole needs to get out of Raleigh. Everywhere he turns, he sees people falling in love, getting married and starting families. It’s enough to make a grown man want to rip out his own hair. And for a cynic like Grey, one more employee getting engaged signals the need for a long overdue vacation. Grey owns a cabin in the mountains he has never even used, and he figures that’s just the ticket out of this nightmare of happily paired-up couples.Grey doesn’t expect to be greeted by a belligerent, half-naked man the minute he opens his cabin door.
Sirus Wilder has known Grey’s twin sister for years, and she has given him permission to stay in the cabin while his residence across the lake is under repair. Sirus has never met Greyson Cole before, but he is thankful when the man lets him share the cabin for a few days. There is plenty enough room for them each to keep to themselves. Sirus has had his heart broken and isn’t interested in a hook-up, let alone something more.
Even so, Grey is, hands-down, one of the sexiest men Sirus has ever seen. Too bad he’s an arrogant ass and his eyes are so damn cold. Every once in a while, though, Sirus thinks he sees a hint of fiery passion in the controlled man sleeping one room away.
For Grey, one look at the roughly handsome Sirus puts Grey’s celibacy pact in serious jeopardy. One problem: Grey doesn’t believe in love, has even less patience for relationships, and he refuses to get mixed up in another messy romantic partnership that can only end badly.
Two weeks. Two hard men. Both running like hell from love.
Look out. Something’s gotta give.

Basically, this is not a review. It's been a while since I read this story, and there's no way I'd be able to write a proper one. It's more like a shout-out.My dear m/m-loving friends, don't you dare miss this! You must meet Grey & Sirus. You're (probably) gonna love Sirus from the very start, but you'll get to love Grey too. He's just... a bit insecure. Promise. And I bet you'll end up enjoying their story. It's hot. Intense. Sensual. Raw. NSFW. It's all that it should be.Seriously, justWarning: My review has as much depth as the book does (i.e. none)After my dear friend wrote a wonderfully brutal review and stole my quotes (yeah girl, still blaming you), I don't really even know what to say. Not the quote part, mind you. There's plenty of hilarious lines from this book to go around (90% of this book fits the bill), but there actually isn't anything to say.Oh, except...sexsexsexsexsexNote: I just summed this book up.Ah wait, but this book wouldn't be the same without the
I've read a few reviews and it seems I am in the minority because I liked Grey better than Sirus. Sirus is more open and apparently more sincere, but I really liked Grey's passionate reserve. When they are together, they literally sizzle. There are a lot of ups and downs, but it's something to be expected since the two have their reasons to avoid bringing the attraction they feel for each other to a deeper level. Sirus surrenders to himself sooner than Grey and what he fights is the fear of

Grey and Sirus seem to be afflicted with a terrible disease. The Cockus Alwayserectus. That nasty bugger, it has its hold on these boys and it just won't relent! Their poor dicks are probably rubbed raw and are all oozy and stuff. You gotta feel for them, ya know?Okay, whether or not you will love or hate this book boils down to the simple question of "How do you like your erotica to be written?" Do you crave quivering channels, hungry chutes, aching passages, and balls that are weighted by
Both Grey and Sirus have baggage and need a lot of work, especially Grey.It was a rough ride for them both and maybe a bit much at times, but i was so glad when they finally got their act together and realized what they felt for each other.(view spoiler)[I really wanted a little more of an ending, don't get me wrong, it was a great ending, but maybe one sex scene less in the middle and a bit more of their relationship at the end. (hide spoiler)]
This was such a simple, but intense romantic story. In the beginning I was not to sure I liked Grey, he just seemed uptight and stuffy, but watching him change and show his real self because of Sirus was great. These two together broke down the walls that each of them had put up and created something that neither wanted or expected. Overall, I think this was a wonderfully written story that had two hot men which I loved from beginning to end.
Read this a while ago and having just read ' A Younger Man ' - the follow up book containing Noahs story - I felt it only fair to come back and review this one. Both are excellent reads in their own rights and do cross over into each other but I would have to say that of the two this one was probably more overt in its sexual attraction and tension. Boy, when Sirius and Grey get together its electric, and the sex is hot and heavy. Cameron Dane is one of those writers who really make you feel the
