The Descendants4/5 starsOh my gosh it's over and I'm bummed out. I've (through no fault of my own) developed a highly unhealthy obsession with this world and these characters.Obviously, this wasn't as well written as the Isle of the Lost, because Melissa De La Cruise didn't write it. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. I wanted to watch the Disney Channel movie as soon as I finished the prequel, but, since I was pretty late on the whole "descendants" train, I haven't been able to find it yet. So IA great short read!!!!!! Loved the creativeness of imagining what would it be like if all the Disney stories we have grown up with also had kids & the moral of the story: good triumphs evil of course!!!!!! :)
Well, this is exactly what I expected it to be.On the surface, this book is definitely a poorly novelized adaption of a Disney made-for TV musical. It has flat, undistinguishable characters in a predictable world following a similar plot as High School Musical, only this time with the children of our favorite Disney big screen heroes and villains. I was able to read it in less than two hours, and I struggled to differentiate one character from other. However, I know that I am not the intended

3.5 stars! This Disney channel movie novelization starts out right where The Isle of the Lost ended. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos have spent their whole lives on the Isle, because of their villainous parents. But when Prince Ben declares that the 'innocent' children of the Isle of the Lost should be given a second chance, they find themselves sent to Auradon, with a special mission from their parents to take down the kingdom and bring Fairy Godmother's wand to Maleficent. Will the Descendants
The next generationWhat happens when the heroes and villains of our fairy tales have children of their own? Disney is ready to tell us. Here is the story of children of villains vs children of heroes, and the one that thinks they all deserve a second chance. When the daughters of Malificent and the Evil Queen and the sons of Jafar and Cruella Deville are invited by the son of Beauty and the Beast to attend his school, their parents think it's a great opportunity. In character, they aren't
Perfect novelization of a perfect movie ♥ (I'm such Descendants trash lol.)
I enjoy the idea of getting a perspective on the classic Disney villain kids. While I understand the hype around this idea, I am not the biggest fan. Overall, it was just okay. I don't think the execution was done real well but maybe because this was aimed more for a younger audience.
