Chronicle As Books Sincere's Rise Out The Hood

From the young age of sixteen, Sincere Jones finds out how hard life is dealing with the death of his mother. As he stepping up to take care of his thirteen year old sister. Losing his mother came to him as one big surprise, learning last minute she had breast cancer. There was no way to save her, they found out the cancer had spread to other places sealing her fate. To avoid being two lost teenagers in the system, they were forced to live with their only aunt Teresa. She took them in a way to get over on the state. More cash relief and more food stamps, without that she would have never taken them into home in Marina Village Projects. She made them her personal slaves, cooking, cleaning, and making runs to the dry cleaners. He leaves his aunt’s house after meeting a nurse at Bridgeport Hospital that would take him and his sister in away from the poor living arrangements they were already in. Will this nurse be able to save him? Is her love enough to change him, or will the streets take him under? Only time will tell that but first you have to read the book!

A Good ReadThis was a good read. I feel a twist coming in the next couple of installment. This how you complete a book. Gave the book closure if though you want to see what happens to the characters. Can't wait for next one.



I read the reviews on Amazon and I had to wonder if I was reading the same book. I had a hard time keeping track of who was speaking at the beginning of many chapters. Entirely too much materialism and very exaggerated. It had to be the worst edited book that Ive probably read since... Well ever... Really should invest in a qualified editor. Sometimes my attention was drawn away from the story by the sheer magnitude of grammatical errors. Not to mention that the story line was hard to believe,

Good book but a twist is coming sooner or later

Great ReadI really liked this book. It was kinda fast pace but it was good from the beginning to the end. I love Sincere's character. Great job Melissa.

This was a good read. It portrays the aspect of taking care of family before anything else. I especially loved the way Sincere made sure that his family was taken care of. I am hoping that in part 2 he will find some true love and happiness for himself. I will definitely be reading part 2.A Good ReadThis was a good read.
