Rendition To Books Archangel's Shadows (Guild Hunter #7)

Return to New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh’s sensual and painfully beautiful Guild Hunter world in her new novel of sacrifice, loyalty, and the choices of love that can shatter the heart.

In the wake of a brutal war, the archangel Raphael and his hunter consort, Elena, are dealing with the treacherously shifting tides of archangelic politics and the people of a battered but not broken city. The last thing their city needs is more death, especially a death that bears the eerie signature of an insane enemy archangel who cannot—should not—be walking the streets.

This hunt must be undertaken with stealth and without alerting their people. It must be handled by those who can become shadows themselves…

Ash is a gifted tracker and a woman cursed with the ability to sense the secrets of anyone she touches. But there’s one man she knows all too well without a single instant of skin contact: Janvier, the dangerously sexy Cajun vampire who has fascinated and infuriated her for years. Now, as they track down a merciless killer, their cat-and-mouse game of flirtation and provocation has turned into a profound one of the heart. And this time, it is Ash’s secret, dark and terrible, that threatens to destroy them both.

Fans of the series will be trilled to note that ARCHANGELS SHADOWS is Ash and Janviers book. As if the novella wasnt enough, Singh shines the spotlight on the kickass Guild Hunter and our favorite Cajun hottie while also hitting us with an intriguing mystery as well.Bodies are showing up in various times and places, all involving some suspicious and similar traits. Tasked with finding out who is responsible for this, Ash must go hunting for this unknown killer. Yet Janvier isnt willing to let

5 Nalini Did It Again Stars Ill show you things thatll make you laugh in delight, scream in passion, cry for the sheer joy of it. This book is the full story of Janvier and Ashwini, a romance that started in the Angels' Pawn novella. Angels' Pawn was just a small taste of what an awesome pair Ash and Janvier would make one day. Their romance is full of witty remarks and entertaining back and forths. It was honestly a delight to read. The fact that both of them are also badasses didn't hurt.

*** 4.44 ***A buddy read with the Wednesday UF group at BB&B! We need to get our hunting on!!!This was supposed to be a buddy read. For those of you who are not familiar with the concept, a BR is a book reading club, only on line, and several people decide on a book, a date and read it, while making comments and discussing the said book. What makes it a buddy read as opposed to a read along is the act of discussing and communication. Well, I sucked at being a good buddy this time, and I

This should be Amazing!!Full review to come

Barely 3 stars. This just didn't do it for me. I got tired of Ash's fatalistic view of everything and ticking time bomb mentality. Sure, it goes with her history, but it was annoying. I didn't enjoy her POV like I thought I would. I liked Janvier. He was funny and dedicatedly sweet to Ash. The best parts of this story for me were the continuation of Elena and Raphael's story and Naasir. Naasir has been a very background character until the last book and I enjoyed his inclusion. Fingers crossed

SpoilersI was bored for the most part, the heroine's non-stop angsting and self-pity was off putting. On top of that, the romance and main arc were nothing I hadn't read about countless times before, it was the same old, same old. There were some good parts though, I loved the Guild Hunter world and the majority of the secondary characters. -What's what: Ashwini/Janvier's story. POV's from Elena/Raphael and other characters as well. The story mainly followed Ash/Janvier's romance whilst they

Reviewed by: Rabid ReadsSo I know I said that I don't like angels in Urban Fantasy in my last review, but I should have qualified that statement: if the angels are simply winged, humanoid beings without ties to religion (and only called "angels" for lack of a better description), then I like them juuuuust fiiiiiiine. And if they happen to be the angels in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter books, then I flat-out L-O-V-E them.Guild Hunter is kind of an odd series. It's part UF, part PNR, and it's kind
